I leave for Israel in 4 weeks, and Uganda in 10.
I am so looking forward to going back to Israel for the third time. It is like going home. It is a country that has stolen my heart. But I have a feeling that Africa will steal my heart even more. I won’t have much of my heart left to give anyone else after June, I just know it.
I cannot WAIT to go. It cannot come soon enough. It is all that I think about, especially since I recently found out that all of the funds for my trip have been raised! I knew when I decided to obey the Lord’s call that He would provide, but He has provided above and beyond what I could have ever imagined. I still have to pay for shots (which won’t be cheap) but the “hard” part is over! I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Words cannot express how grateful I am to everyone who has donated. Now all that is standing between me and some African babies, is time. And today I am grateful that time flies.
So thank you so much to everyone for your prayers, your donations, and your support. This is my prayer for you:
“May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you His favor and give you His peace.” Numbers 6:24-26
Here are some ways that you can pray for me:
-That everyone in our group makes prayer a priority before, during, and after the trip.
-For great ministry opportunities. That God would begin to prepare the hearts of those we come in contact with even now.
-Safe travel to and from Africa.
-For physical, spiritual, and relational health among everyone on the team.
-That everything that we do or say points to the glory of Christ.
-That we would be sensitive to His Spirit.
-That others will hear of what the Lord is doing and their hearts will be softened towards those in need.
Thank you for your prayer. We desperately need it.
