Cape Town

Last week we went on a short holiday to Cape Town. The views from Table Mountain and the Cape of Good Hope were overwhelmingly beautiful. I’ve never seen anything so stunning as the deep blue waves crashing onto that rocky shore at the bottom of the world.

The entire trip felt like a profound exhale. I did not want to leave.

Day 1: Table Mountain, Chapman’s Peak, Boulder Beach Penguin Colony, Simon’s Town, V&A Waterfront
Day 2: Cape Point Lighthouse, Cape of Good Hope, V&A Waterfront
Day 3: Shark Cage Diving, V&A Waterfront
Day 4: Robben Island, Origin Coffee Shop

  2. Haley, Cape Town is my favorite city in the whole world(after 60+ countries, I think I KNOW what is the best!!) So incredibly beautiful!! We have been there many times and lived on the side of Table Mountain part of one school term and at the base of it the other part!! Such a geographical setting…two oceans warm and cold, crashing waves and quiet coves,, mountains along the coast,, wheat, oranges and grapes nearby, the charm of the Malays, the Africaans influence and the English…modern and quaint alongside each other, precious people to fellowship with around False Bay…God has wanted to bless these folks so much!! Great Christians there as well as a lot of folks with needs. I am so glad that you have seen it for yourself! Praying for your continuing time in South Africa…hope you get to see more- like Krueger Park, Knisna, East London,..all of the country is amazing!!! God bless you in your walk…. ,
